Music is not about people
but in people
Philosophy of the workshops
Inspira’s workshops are spaces and moments to share, play, discover, experiment, create and express ourselves through music and movement.
Music is not outside people but inside people. It is the greatest and most genuine expression of the human spirit, as basic to its development and existence as language. Through music and movement, children become more aware of themselves, their surroundings, and others; and they learn a valuable way to channel and transform their emotions. With music and dance, they can uniquely develop their imagination and their unattainable creativity and, in short, live a fuller and happier life.
It is through movement that the child can relate his or her own internal rhythmic processes to the rhythm of the music. The child listens with his whole body. What the body begins to explore to understand, the mind can assimilate to integrate.
